As part of the Security and Civil Protection Week, different drills took place, as a way of testing the response capacity of the entities that provide assistance in the Municipality of Mafra.

On May 29, 2018, a fire drill was held at the Hélia Correia Basic School, in Mafra. This prevention and preparation exercise included the participation of the volunteer firefighters of Mafra, Municipal Police, Municipal Civil Protection Service and GNR of Mafra, and its main objectives were institutional cooperation between the various institutions, as well as raising awareness among the school population of the care to be taken in risk situations.
